Very nice :]

I've just spent about 10 mins navigating the rx-8 site.. I think one word sums it up.. Awesome!

came out nice. i have an 04 rx8 without nav. without bose, in the process of trying to layup the stereo/ac panel out of carbon fiber. i don't want to f-up anything. how did you run the factory circut board? if you have more pics i would be thankful. Did you fabricate your own install kit? or did you cut the factory one?

Nice setup. I found your site off of the rx8club.com. I have a TEIN question if I may ask...... My flex and edfc setup is on a truck on its way to me as I type. 01) Did you do your own install? If so, how long did it take you? If not, how long did it take and how much did it cost to have it done? I am getting estimates all over the board. 02) I assume you had an alignment done after the install, did you stay with the recommended sport suspension numbers or did you change anything? If you changed Mazda's numbers, what did you change them to? 03) Have you tracked this car yet? If so, what are your thoughts of before and after on the track/as a dailey driver? If not, well, I guess I'll find out when I go back to Road Atlanta in March. Thanks for your time!

Ok, I'm sure you get asked this a bunch, so here goes...Where did you get the custom faceplate made for the RX-8 that you used so you could take out the factory audio system and install your own without it looking like crap? Thanks, Carlton

Saw your link on rx8 forum. Nice site!!! Keep up the good work and good luck!! Greg(texas 8)

your installer needs a raise....

^^^ He should talk to my sales guy! ;-)

Wow, I love what you have done with your 8! Very nice! Had a question, I don't know anyone who use the CZ1 from canzoomer and notice you did. What do you think of it? Did you notice any difference in the car after installing it? Do you recommend it? Thanks for your help, btw I have a 04 black GT 8 with cat-flow exhaust and downsized pulleys. Just getting started though :) Chris

Hey Devoid, great pics all over the site of your car. Yours is the only 8 I have ever seen with the shaved doors. It looks sick. This was something I was thinkin of doing to my Shinka but I have no clue how much it costs. Now that I have seen the way the 8 looks with the handles shaved I REALLY want it though. I don't want to ask you how much you paid to have it done but I really have no clue when it comes to something like this. So you think you coult give me an estimate or a ball-park figure of what something like this would cost me? I don't need a gauranteed figure I just want to know if it's like 1,000 or 10,0000. Any feedback you could give would be great. Thanks alot Dev. -Jim

Hey buddy: Love the set-up. You mind me asking how much did all this cost you roughly? I'm looking to drop money into this car -- it's my playtoy and I want to have fun with it and do everything I can. later, -sjm

I would first like to say - f'n impressive. All I would really like to know is what type of door poppers do you have and basically all the information you can remember on the shaving the door handle part of the project. I saw a few things on the rx-8 club but nothing specific. How is the shaved door handles working for you. It's really the only project I'm looking into doing and you seem to be the only person I can find that has it done. Thanks a bunch.

Hello, you have a great site and I was wondering if you are interested in having pictures of your RX-8 in our edition of the urbaneye magazine in Barbados. We would just need the high res pictures (300 dpi) and we would give you full credit . I look forward to hearing from you. Dwayne Grannum The Urban Eye

way to go man, you successfully merge 2 of the best things in life, bleeding edge techs and nice powerful car. i'm wondering how (and how much) you can get the stats of the car to be displayed on the lcd. i don't have rx-8 so hopefully it wasn't a car specific kit. i'd appreciate if you can let me know, just email me. keep it up. erick

I just read your write-up in Maximum PC this evening. Excellent car! Very well done!! Being an RX-8 lover and a PC fanatic, this is a dream to me!

Hey, sweet car. I was just wondering, where did you mount the second battery? Is it hooked up in series or parallel to the first battery? In case you were wondering, I'm thinking about doing something similar to a 1980 BMW 528i.

I have some questions about your interface for your guages. Is this something you came up with yourself, or was it a packaged deal that you got from a company of some sort? I ask because I am interested in, and have been researching similar systems for my S2000. If it is a program that you purchased or downloaded, could you tell me where you got it and what type of equipment is being used to convert the raw data into a digital/analog display? Thanks so much for your time. I really appreciate any information that you can give me. Chris (California)

This is a beautifull car, Thank you for sharing it. I saw it in MaximumPC and came to your site to look around, I have a 98 Neon Expresso I'm redoing right now and am considering building a computer in it Mostly for TV and Video viewing for my kids. I have the car stripped down right now and am working on putting a V6 engine in right now, but any advice for when I get to the computer part would be appreciated. The computer I will be Using is a P4 1.7 with 1gig of Ram and a GeForce video card with a Hauppauge TV card. Thanks again, peace out.

Devoid, i'm a big fan of you. I first saw your car in rx8forum.com I love the way you mod it, it's unique for sure. Question? I like you iceled but our car is 5x7 (almost) but the ufo is only 3x4 how do you extend it?

I saw your RX-8 in Maximum PC and hit up the website, and lo and behold you're a fellow RIT grad!! E.E. May 2001 here. Congrats man, way to represent.

Man, This is definately the best car I've ever seen. Congrats. Although I am not an RX 8 fan but after I saw this!!! I Love it.

Hi, I saw your car in Max PC Magazine and thought it was amazing. I came to your site to find out some more specs for the car - such as engine and performance. I have a Subaru Impreza RS with cold-air intake, sway bars, and strut bars. I was suprised to see that you bought both an Escort Passport RS7 and Escort Shifter ZR3. You spent $1099 for the RS7 and $499 for the ZR3 for a total of $1588. Why didn't you just get the Escort Passport RS7 Plus with laser jammer for $1499 and save 88 bucks? Is there something wrong with the RS7 Plus, or was the RS7 Plus just not available when you bought the ZR3? Also, how have the two radar/lidar systems been working for you? I'm considering buying the RS7 and don't want to waste my money.

How did you setup your lights in your RX8 to turn on and off Automatically. I would really love to add that feature to my new RX8. any information you can give would be great. Thank You.

Hey Devoid, My name is Greg. I also put a computer system in my car. It is a 2.4 GHz P4 system in an 2004 PT Crusier GT. I was wondering what program/interface you use to display info from the cars computer? What type of things can this program display? Any help would be great. Thanks Greg

Just a suggestion. Converting the front doors to open vertically will make this car perfect, especially with your target of making this car non-outstanding during the usual times but attracts everyone's attention when being showed off. :-)

Hi I have really liked your RX8 when I saw it in Maximum PC and then I went to your site and was really impressed with what you have done with it. I myself have a 1987 Crystler Fifth Avenue. I want to put a computer in it. I was wondering if you could give me some tips. I'm going to be using one 7" LCD Monitor. In the Glovebox there will be a Card Reader and a USB Hub. I was wondering how you hooked up your extended computer power and HDD LEDs and your Aux-in (front passenger counsel and trunk, RCA vid/L/R, AC power). Thank you for your time sincerly, Silva

Good times. You need more fun links that I would be interested in. Thanks for changing my name.

*Amazed*
